- It's less than two-thirds the size of the original Nintendo DS and more than 20 percent lighter- Its two bright screens can be adjusted to four levels to adapt to different lighting conditions and to extend battery power
- The microphone sits in the center of the unit, and the LED lights are clearly visible whether the unit is open or closed
- The stylus is 1 centimeter longer and 1 millimeter thicker than the stylus of the original, and slides into a side storage slot
- The Start and Select buttons were repositioned for easier access

The DS is great. The only thing I wasn't happy with was its color. The picture and name said gold, but it was red. Everything else about it has been great.

My boys have numerous game consoles and systems...these little hand held game systems are perfect for going places and traveling...keeps them busy when waiting in places too, or adult activities.

I've been a fan of the Zelda series ever since the original on the NES. My wife bought this for me for Christmas in 2007, and it was an awesome present! There don't appear to be many of the Legend of Zelda DS units out there. The construction is the same as the other late-model DS' - solid, no creaking, and has held up well after hundreds of hours of gaming.

... I couldn't really find anything wrong with this unit. It came in perfect condition, and even after hundreds of hours of use everything works as new. There are a few very light exterior scratches, but that can be attributed to normal wear.
Everything considered, this is an excellent gift for any fan of the Legend of Zelda series.
